How To Find Us

Grange is ideally situated with easy access from the M6. Take exit 36 onto the Kendal by-pass and then the first left exit sign posted Barrow A590. Follow A590 until the first roundabout, where Grange is marked. Access via rail to Grange is either on a direct route from London and other major cities or via local services from Preston or Lancaster. Upon leaving Grange train station simply turn right and walk a short distance.

The Netherwood is an ideal base for you to enjoy exploring the town and surrounding areas. The Edwardian town of Grange-over-Sands boasts a delightful promenade, ornamental gardens with duck pond, and a lovely range of independent shops and cafés. There are also lovely walks for all abilities direct from the hotel and for guests who wish to explore further afield there are excellent transport links to stately homes, gardens, museums family attractions and Windermere and the central Lake District.
