Netherwood has held Bridge Holidays for many years and our current holidays are hosted by Helen Barr.

Helen is experienced, organised, highly qualified and uses the most up to date equipment. She oversees every detail and her friendly hands-on approach, often ably assisted by her husband Patrick, ensures a genuine personal touch. The tuition is excellent, the competition is real and there are always fabulous prizes to be won. Helen’s motto is quite simply “Bridge is Fun!”

At the Netherwood, Helen offers two types of Bridge Holiday: “Social Duplicate” holidays, aimed at the non-tournament player and improvers and “Competitive Bridge” holidays, licensed by the English Bridge Union and aimed at tournament players.

Our Bridge Holiday packages are inclusive of dinner, bed and full English breakfast as well as refreshments during the Bridge drives. All bookings for our Bridge holidays should be made directly with Helen.
