The Netherwood’s spa offers a luxurious experience from the moment you arrive. A space dedicated to pampering, relaxation and rejuvenation. Immerse yourself in the Thermal Journey, indulge in pampering treatments in one of our three treatment rooms and finally relax in our dedicated hot tub lounge area. Please note our spa facilities are not included in our accommodation rates, guests staying in the hotel can pre-book use of the Thermal Suite and Spa to enjoy as part of their stay. The Thermal Journey is charged at £20 per person for a 90minute session, an additional 60minutes can be booked at an extra £10 per person.

The Netherwood Spa is delighted to have partnered with pioneering, award winning British spa and skincare brand Elemis to bring you a wonderful treatment menu and enhanced spa experience.

Elemis products combine powerful marine and plant actives with intricately blended aromatics, bringing together the power of nature and science. Our treatments and therapies have been created to help restore balance and well-being using the Elemis product range.

The Thermal Journey

Enjoy an experience that treats your mind and body to a range of unique stimuli and varying temperatures to relax, detoxify and revive.

We provide towels, robes and slippers for use during your thermal experience.

The Thermal Journey is available Monday – Sunday 10am – 5pm.

To ensure all of our guests fully enjoy their spa experience we ask that you book in advance of your stay with us, spa use is not included in your hotel stay unless you have booked a spa package.

Much has been said about the health benefits of a Traditional Sauna.

A traditional sauna experience is known for the benefits it provides when creating a deep, healthy sweat, this relaxes the muscles and looses tension, allowing you to unwind.

AROMA STEAM ROOM

Our steam room operates at a high temperature allowing your body to undergo detoxifying perspiration.

The Aroma Steam Room uses scented oils to fill the steamy air with aromas that will revive or relax you.

SALT INHALATION ROOM

Similar to our steam room, with bursts of controlled salt for inhalation.

Natural salt therapy has been popular for hundreds of years, the salt is both cleansing and stimulating and is known to provide relief from respiratory conditions. Relax in the warming environment and breathe deeply to really feel the benefits

MONSOON SHOWER

Experience various lighting effects and senses as you test out our three monsoon moments.

Experience four unique shower sensations, changing with lighting and water flow to refresh and invigorate the body and mind.

ICE FOUNTAIN

Reawaken your senses and cover your body with freshly produced ice from our ice fountain.

After your sauna and steam experiences, reawaken your senses and cover your body with ice. The shock of the cold ice will stimulate your senses; boost your circulation and leave you feeling really invigorated.

INDOOR HOT TUBS

For hundreds of years, societies around the world have found rejuvenation in the calming and healing pleasures of water.

Relax in our Hot Tub area and take your time to dip into each one of our three hot tubs, choose your own rotation to gain the most beneficial experience for you. The first awakening is the hydrotherapy tub, enjoy the warm water and relaxing massage jets, relax in the soothing hot tub and kick-start your senses by plunging into the cold-water tub.

NAIL BAR

A place to get your nails filed, cuticles nourished and your hands massaged, add a glass of Prosecco to your nail bar experience for an added treat

TREATMENT ROOMS

Our spa has three wonderfully tranquil treatment rooms.

Including a luxurious double treatment room perfect for couples to enjoy a relaxing treatment at the same time. Our Snug is a quiet relaxation area to enjoy the benefits of your relaxing treatment and delay getting back to the world for a little longer.
As the finale to your spa experience why not have a manicure at our nail bar with a glass of fizz for added fun.
