The Netherwood offers all the charm and character of a Victorian Manor House combined with the luxury and comforts that make a hotel stay indulgent and relaxing.
There are 28 ensuite bedrooms in the main house, most offer spectacular views across the Morecambe Bay estuary to the hills beyond, others look out across the woodlands at the back of the hotel that leads into the Brown Robin Nature Reserve, famed for its Bluebell displays and primrose carpet in the spring.
We also offer self- catering in the Turrets, Treehaven and Woodlands. Each is a stand-alone property located in the gardens a short walk from the main house. All have a private hot tub for use when you are staying in the chalets or Turrets.
All of our rooms have free, fast Wi-Fi and there is plenty of free on-site parking.
During your stay guests can use the gym facilities and pre-book access to the spa and Thermal suite, there is a charge to use this facility and spa treatments are charged as taken.

Self Catering Properties
The Turrets
The Turrets is a delightful and unique castellated property set against woodland just above the main house. The property comprises two elegant ensuite double bedrooms, two lounges with double settee beds, a kitchen and a downstairs cloakroom. Externally there is a private courtyard hot tube for use only by Turrets guests. It can sleep a maximum of 8 people.
Woodlands
“Woodlands” is a lovely property within the hotel grounds, just a short walk away from the main house. Its tranquil and secluded position makes Woodlands ideal for a romantic getaway or peaceful escape, the chalet has one master bedroom, luxurious bathroom, well equipped kitchen, lounge diner, private hot tub and all the hotel facilities to hand when you need them.
Treehaven
Treehaven is a self catering property tucked away in our gardens with views out over Morecambe Bay. The chalet comprises one elegant double bedroom with far reaching views, lounge with double sofa bed, a kitchen and large bathroom with walk in shower. The secret gem that makes this accommodation so special is the sun drenched courtyard with private hot tub. Treehaven can sleep a maximum of 4 people.
Rock House
Rock house contains four light and airy bedrooms all with en suite bathooms and French windows which open onto either an individual terrace or a balcony, offering fabulous views across Morecambe Bay and the surrounding gardens. Its tranquil and secluded position makes Rock House ideal for a romantic getaway or peaceful escape, with all the hotel facilities to hand when you need them.
Rock House is also a dog friendly option for guests travelling with well behaved, trained dogs.
Please note – the property has a private parking area for your convenience.
Accessibility
We do everything we can to assist guests with limited mobility. We have ample designated disabled parking spaces and there is lift access from the car park to reception level and the first floor bedrooms. Although none of our rooms are currently specifically modified to accommodate wheelchairs, we do have certain rooms that may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. However we strongly recommend that prior to making a booking you speak to us directly to discuss your requirements. This will to enable us to advise you on the basis of your individual needs and to make the best possible arrangements for your ease and comfort.
